| The ruler of the West - Virupaksa (in the picture on the right with a pointed pinnacle-stupa) is the Ruler of the Heaven of Free Metamorphoses ruling the Heavenly Dome. There live Heaven Dragons in this world (Nagi). They rule the weather. In the Nagi area monk Shriman received “Satasahasrika” and “Svalpaksara” (a short prajnaparamita-sutra). Later Shriman was known as Nagarjuna. |
